miscellaneous happenings

Upon our arrival to the house, we were welcomed with open arms by our classmates who’d been fortunate enough to find alternate transportation home. I showered right away, and didn’t even unpack before I went to bed. Sunday Em and I went to town and had a picnic in St. Mary’s courtyard. We ate pasties: best English food ever. Later that day, we went to tea with kristi. Sunday, Prof Farmer threw a celebratory pizza party, and a few of us went out to Henry’s that night. Monday we had class for the first time in over three weeks, and then a few of us went to Henry’s again. haha Tuesday I just did homework, laundry, and I mailed some random glassware home. Wednesday, Lucy and Mave- English students who’d studied abroad at Valpo- came over for Farhan and Steve’s common meal. Lucy and I talked about America. kinda made me excited to go home, but I had a ton of mixed feelings.
